Day 1 | Arrival in Warsaw (-/-/D)
Arrive in Warsaw, Poland's vibrant capital. After checking into your hotel, take the afternoon at leisure to explore the city center or simply relax. In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a welcoming dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Warsaw.
Day 2 | Warsaw (B/-/D)
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before diving into Warsaw's rich history. Explore the Royal Castle, the former residence of Polish monarchs, and admire the beautifully restored Throne Room and King’s Bedroom. Stroll through the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and visit Market Square and the Barbican. After lunch, spend the afternoon at Łazienki Park, Warsaw's largest and most beautiful green space, before heading to the Warsaw Uprising Museum, which offers deep insight into the 1944 resistance against Nazi occupation. Day 3 | Toruń & Malbork Castle (B/-/D)
After breakfast, set off for the charming medieval city of Toruń, famous for its Gothic architecture and as the birthplace of astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. Explore the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before heading to Malbork to visit the colossal Malbork Castle, the largest brick fortress in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tour the castle's impressive rooms and learn about its medieval history. Continue to Gdańsk for an overnight stay.
Day 4 | Gdansk (B/-/D)
Enjoy breakfast before starting your day in Gdańsk’s Old Town. Visit the Main Town Hall, Long Market, and the iconic St. Mary’s Church. Learn about the city’s role in the Solidarity movement at the European Solidarity Center, and visit the historic Gdańsk Shipyard, which was pivotal in the fall of communism in Poland. Afterward, head to Sopot, a picturesque seaside resort town, and take in the scenic views at the famous wooden pier. Day 5 | Elbląg & Mikołajki (B/-/D)
After breakfast, depart for Elbląg, where you’ll experience the unique canal system that connects the town to the Masurian Lakes. Take a boat cruise through this fascinating engineering feat. Continue on to Mikołajki, a charming town in the Masurian Lake District, and enjoy an afternoon at leisure to relax or explore. Overnight in Mikołajki.
Day 6 | Gierłoż & Święta Lipka Monastery (B/-/D)
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before departing for Gierłoż, where you'll visit the historic site of Wolf's Lair, Adolf Hitler's former WWII headquarters. Explore the remains of the compound, where an assassination attempt on Hitler took place. Next, visit the stunning Święta Lipka Monastery, a Baroque masterpiece known for its impressive architecture and intricate interior. Spend the afternoon in Mikołajki at your leisure, perhaps enjoying a boat ride or a stroll through the town. Overnight in Mikołajki.
Day 7 | Żelazowa Wola & Nieborów Palace (B/-/D)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and board the coach to Żelazowa Wola, the birthplace of the great composer Frédéric Chopin. Explore the museum and beautiful park dedicated to his life and works. Continue on to Nieborów Palace, a beautiful Baroque palace surrounded by picturesque gardens. Return to Warsaw for your hotel check-in and some time to freshen up before enjoying an unforgettable Chopin Recital in the evening, a fitting conclusion to your musical journey. Overnight in Warsaw.
